    Plans are being finalized for our 2015 Italian baseball road trip, so now is  the time to gear up if you plan to join us.  This year we will be taking an All Star team playing the full rules of baseball against veteran Italian and British men's teams. We will also have extensive sightseeing in Rome, Torino and Milan.  Offering extensive sightseeing and baseball camaraderie,  we are now signing up players for this exciting trip.  Don't miss out on our 2015 Italian Baseball adventure.

Information On Our 2014 Italian Baseball Road Trip

    The requirements are simple.  First, the ability and desire to play baseball in a unique international setting.  Second, an interest in international goodwill and sportsmanship (e.g. if you swing the bat at the ump after a called strike three, please try rotisserie baseball).  Third, a historical interest in the sites, sounds, and images of past and present Italy.  Sound interesting?

 

    Whatís involved in this once in a lifetime opportunity? First, you will depart America on August XX and arrive in Rome the next day where you'll make your way to our team hotel. After a night of rest, we will begin our baseball exploits playing six games against veteran Italian and British baseball teams.   We will also spend the non-game daytime hours sightseeing in Rome, Torino and Milan we will visit the incredible historical sites outlined in our schedule.

2015 Italian Baseball Tour Costs And Details

     By now you are probably asking yourself how you could be so lucky to have the opportunity of a lifetime and play baseball in Italy. Well, itís time to come back to earth as every dream has its price, but this oneís reasonable. The cost for each player in a double room is $1995 while fans and friends are just $1895 in a double room. This includes all  hotels, breakfasts, two lunches a dinner, all sightseeing, baseball games, ground transportation, field rentals, umpire fees and our dinner.  Single rooms are an additionally  $450.  Full payment is required by June 1st.

 

 

  

Preparing The Field In Torino and Game Action in Milan At The Ball Parks We'll Be Playing

 

   

    What isnít included in this wonderful invitation? First, you are free to choose your own airline to travel to Rome and return from Milan as no airfare is included in the above prices. Several carriers fly to Europe, so check Orbitz for carriers flying from your local airport or check out our air fare tips.  Please note September airfare sales for Europe usually won't start until June.  Please do not purchase your plane ticket until you are notified that the trip is full.

 

    Second, you must get your own passport if you do not already have one or if yours has expired. Please note that Americans do not require a visa to visit Italy.  Third, you are on your own for most lunches and dinners. Fourth, you'll be provided information on how to get to the hotel, but you are responsible for the airport transfers. 

 

    Finally, each player will be responsible for bringing their own Foreign Devils uniform, gray uniform pants, metal or wooden bat, batting helmet, glove and 12 new leather baseballs.  If you don't own a Foreign Devils uniform (a jersey and cap), you will be provided information on ordering one after registering.

August SundayArrive in Rome and make your way to the Hotel Mancini by taxi.
August MondaySightseeing at Roman Coliseum, St Peters, St Peters Square, historical squares, the Pantheon, the Vatican museum, and the Sistine Chapel.
August TuesdayStart the day with a scenic high speed train ride across the Italian countryside to Torino. Check in to the Golden Palace Hotel, have lunch, then a visit to the Egyptian Museum . Evening game #1 at Passeo Buole Ball Park vs the Torino All Stars.
August WednesdayA visit to the Langhe region for the wine museum in Barolo, a Monferrato Wine Tour with lunch, and a local winery. Game #2 at Passo Buile Park versus the Torino Jacks Baseball Club.
August ThursdaySightseeing visit in to nearby castles of the Royal family in Racconigi and Stupinigi. Afternoon sightseeing in  Torino including the Royal Savoy Residences and the Royal Church of St Lorenzo containing the Shroud of Turin. Afternoon game #3 versus NW Division All Stars.
August FridayTravel to Milan for a city tour including the Duomo, Leonardo's Last Supper, and Sforza Castle. Check in to the Windsor Hotel, then game #4 vs NE Division All Stars Ares Milano at the Milano RHO Ball Park.
August SaturdayA visit to the famous Lake Como area with a cruise stopping at Bellagio and Villa Melzi followed by a lake front lunch. Game #5 vs the Milan Homeless at Milano Bollate Ball Park.
August  SundayLeave for the USA as  true international baseball stars!
