Our Schedule of Games and Sightseeing!

 

 
Day 1 ThursdayLeft the USA on the airline of your choice!
Day 2FridayArrive in Tokyo and transfer on your own to the hotel.
Day 3SaturdayMorning sightseeing at the Sensoji Temple and Asakusajinja Shrine followed by shopping and lunch at the tourist market. Afternoon sightseeing at the Edo Museum.  Evening game #1 vs the Tokyo Cubs.
Day 4SundayTravel by bullet train to Toyama. Afternoon  Game #2 versus Toyama Tigers and Game #3 versus Toyama Dodgers followed by an evening welcome BBQ party.
Day 5MondaySightseeing at the historic Villages of Gokayama that were granted  World Heritage Status, a visit to Zuisenji Temple built in 1390,  and a visit to a Japanese baseball bat factory, Evening game #4 vs Toyama Terrors.
Day 6TuesdayMorning game #5 vs Toyama Tsunami. Sightseeing in Ishikawa and a visit to  Kenrokuen castle and gardens, then spend the night in Kaga-yamashiro.
Day 7WednesdayTravel to Kyoto on the 8:42am bullet train with afternoon sightseeing in old Kyoto. Optional evening Chunichi Dragons vs Orix Buffaloes game in Nagoya.
Day 8ThursdaySightseeing in Kyoto including the Golden Pavilion, the beautiful Kinkakuji Temple, and the craft market shopping area.  Evening Hanshin Tigers vs Nippon Ham Fighter game in Koshien.
Day 9 FridayTravel to Hiroshima stopping along the way at the Himeji castle or Hiroshima Castle, the Atomic Bomb Museum and shrines, a tour of Hiroshima stadium, and  Hiroshima Carp vs Nippon Ham Fighters  game
Day 10 SaturdayTravel to Tokyo, visit to the Big Egg Sports and Entertainment complex and  the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. Evening game #6 vs the Tokyo Cubs or morning game in Kyoto.
Day 11 SundayReturned to the USA

Our 2006 Foreign Devils team.  This was our second visit to Japan as we played in Tokyo during the2005 World Tour.
